In March 2024, Modius Stress by Neurovalens recieved FDA approval as a non-invasive, drug free treatment for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Dr Sailesh was the Principal Investigator of this study, which was managed locally by the Indian Centre of Neurophysiology.

Dr. Sai Sailesh Kumar Goothy obtained his master’s degree in Medical Physiology from the prestigious Manipal University, Manipal, India, and a Doctoral degree in Medical Physiology from Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai, India. he also completed Fellowship in clinical nutrition from Medversity in 2022. He has 12 years of research experience in the field of neurophysiology, especially vestibular research.
He published more than 250 research articles in renowned journals. He won the international stress management award from ISMA, INDIA twice (2014 & 2015). He won the young scientist award from SPER society in 2017. He received the Best reviewer award from the Journal of Saudi Heart Association- Netherlands. He also received C.S Murthy Memorial Gold Medal for the Best Faculty paper on Medical Education in 2018 at APMEDUCON.
Dr. Sailesh has won numerous academic honors and awards in his career. He delivered guest lectures at many prestigious institutes. He completed many funded research projects, and is currently working on ICMR funded research project related to the management of Parkinson’s disease. He successfully completed many funded projects in collaboration with international medical device companies.
Dr. Sailesh is the Founder Director of the Indian Center of Neurophysiology (ICN). The major mission of the institute is to promote research on neurophysiology and to enable clinical support & mentorship to the researchers. The institute also offers training programs on the conduction of clinical trials to young researchers.
